So you want to be a Fundraiser?

For those of you who are seeking new career opportunities in this challenging job market, DER has started a new group to support you. Aptly named "Fundraisers in Transition," this group will meet regularly (frequency to be determined by the group) to discuss search strategies, share job leads and interviewing tips, swap tales from the trenches and cheer each other on.

The next meeting of FIT will be held on Monday, November 22nd 12 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at the Foundation Center.

Fundraisers in Transition (FIT) is organizing the final meeting of the
year targeting individuals who want to transition into development work
from other fields or sectors. Join us for a candid conversation about
what the profession really entails and how to best prepare yourself for
the jump. Current development professionals will be there to help answer
all your questions.
